Camtel Christmas Tree Ceremony : Over 300 kids receive Yah Judith's Christmas gifts

Christmas bells and joyous carols sounded from the Camtel Club premise during the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. A delegation sent by the General Manager of the Cameroon Telecommunications Agency (CAMTEL), joined the over 300 kids present to celebrate the feast of nativity of Christ, around love and happiness. 

Representing the General Manager of CAMTEL, Yah Judith Sunday epse Achidi was Madam Fadimatou Aboubakar, Technical Adviser 2 at Camtel, accompanied by some Inspectors and Directors. The over 300 kids were awarded special Christmas parcels, with ages  from 0-10 years. With just a single child selected from a worker's home to be as beneficiary. 

The Christmas tree event is part and parcel of the corporation's yearly tradition, that was instituted from her creation. It also provides the opportunity for CAMTEL's managing board, to carry out a retrospection of her yearly activities. Addressing the heavily turn out beneficiaries and their parents, the Technical Adviser 2,personal representive to the GM echoed the following:

"Camtel wish you  all a warm reception into this beautiful and well embellished  structure.For the yearly celebration of the Christmas tree, that has become an old tradition for camtel in  conformity with her Social Corporate Responsibility policy".

"I wish to let you know that,it has been glory and glory for CAMTEL in the year 2022. Especially with the launching of our new  blue  service. That has been gaining grounds in a highly competitive market.Today, we can  continue the journey, thanks to our numerous successes such as the launching of Local roaming service making our enterprise to grow in terms of network, " She added 

"In celebrating this Christmas tree, CAMTEL therefore renews her engagement with her staff, reassures the workers on the amelioration of their working conditions and encourage hard work."

"I can't end my speech with out saying merry Christmas to all our darling customers,children and parents", Fadimatou Aboubakar articulated.

The  Christmas tree festivities comes up, some few days after General Manager of the Cameroon Telecommunications Agency (CAMTEL), Judith Yah Sunday epse Achidi has expressed her gladness, towards the fruitful partnership with MTN Cameroon in the launching of the National Roaming services.

Yah Judith echoed the warm words of gratitude on Thursday, December 15,2022 at Nkoteng, during the official launching of the National Roaming Services. The newly launched service will allow the company’s customers to access network service in areas already covered by MTN Cameroon, where CAMTEL is not currently present.

CAMTEL has as ambition to continue, to make grow the mobile telephone service in Cameroon. Thus, the reason for the frank and constructive link with MTN Cameroon in the guess to meet their objective. They have also strong affirm their commitment in ensuring that, their darling and faithful customers get and enjoy the best of data offers within the national territory.

It is worthy of note that, on 28-9-2021, The General Manager of CAMTEL, Yah Judith Sunday epse Achidi had signed a memorandum of understanding in Yaoundé, with the then Managing Director for MTN, Mr. Stephen Blewett for the implementation of the National Roaming Services. This memo had as aim to permit CAMTEL subscribers to switch automatically to the partner network and continue to enjoy, using their CAMTEL Sim cards, services such as sending and receiving national and international SMS, calls and internet access.
