Cameroon - National Assembly / Execution of Micro Project Grant Rt. Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril provides abundantly to populace

The people of Tokombere and its environs have been assured of abundant food on their tables thanks to the largesse of their illustrious son, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the Right Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly. The benevolent MP for the Mayo Sava constituency has made it a prime duty to always meet the needs of his fellow citizens. He has always provided them with wheat when prices soar due to the shortage during the dry season.

The food distribution ceremony this time brought together the Divisional Officer of Tokombere and his close collaborators, the president of the Mayo-Sava section of the CPDM, Mr. Nana Hans, and the mayor of Tokombere who carried out the distribution in front of a visibly jubilant population who praised their son whom they described as an envoy of God.

It should be noted that the Speaker of the National Assembly has been performing this humanterian gesture to his constituents since his first term as a Member of Parliament. He noted during the ceremony that his first micro-project action for this year was to ensure that his people have enough food to eat, which he did by providing them with 4000 bags of wheat. His second mission in the coming days will be to provide educational materials for schools, students and pupils so that they can start the upcoming academic year hitch free.

The Rt. Hon. Speaker also used the ceremony to encourage other members of parliament to effectively use the micro-project grants allocated to them by the National Assembly for the benefit of their fellow citizens. He said that the 8 million francs attributed to MPs at the beginning of each legislative year by the National Assembly is the people's money and that MPs should always carry out micro-projects aimed at improving the living conditions of their people.

He said that the wheat he gave to his people was bought with money from his own micro-project. In this regard, it is clear that the recent micro project execution by the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly is undoubtedly a good example to follow. It also proves beyond measure that the Speaker is a dynamic and natural leader who. Is leading the National Assembly on all fronts.
