National Assembly News : Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly is back in Yaounde

The Rt. Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly is back in Yaounde after taking part in the 40- years anniversary of the rise to power of his Excellency President Paul Biya to the Helm of the Republic of Cameroon. It should be noted that the Rt. Hon. Speaker took part in this celebration in his native Tokombere Sub Division of the Far North Region of Cameroon.

On hand to receive him today 8 November 2022 at the Yaounde, Nsimalen Airport were senior administrative staff of the National Assembly that include:  Mr. Boukar Abdourahim, Director of Cabinet, Mr. Abdoulaye Daouda, first assistant Secretary General, Justice Okia Mukete, second assistant Secretary General, Mr. Kainou, Deputy Director of Cabinet, Mr. Ali Bappa Garga, Special Adviser to the Rt. Hon. Speaker. Conspicuously present and active on duty was Mr. Abel Finoua, the new Director of protocol of the Rt. Hon. Speaker. 

The arrival of the Rt. Speaker therefore sets the stage for serious business to start at the National Assembly. It is important to note that the November 2022 Session will open on Friday 11 November at the Yaounde Conference Center which currently playing host to the National Assembly.
