Olam Agri in Cameroon Unveils Transformative Mentorship Programme to Celebrate 2025 International Women’s Day
Olam Agri in Cameroon marked International Women’s Day with the launch of a groundbreaking mentorship programme for female employees, reaffirming the company’s unwavering commitment to empowering women across its operations.

The programme was spearheaded by the Women’s Alliance Group, a dynamic voluntary association of female employees within Olam Agri in Cameroon. This nine-month-long mentoring initiative is meticulously designed to elevate the professional prowess of women, fortify their capabilities, and enhance their overall wellbeing and job satisfaction. The mentors, comprising women in top management roles from our regional cluster, bring a wealth of experience and insight to the programme.
This transformative mentorship programme is a testament to Olam Agri’s steadfast dedication to its inclusion and diversity agenda, which champions inclusiveness, diversity, and equality in the workplace. It aims to fast-track the development and readiness of women to assume more significant roles within the organisation.
Briginette Abega, Country Human Resources Manager, passionately urged the women to embrace the programme wholeheartedly and participate actively to witness substantial growth and development in their personal and professional lives.
The event also featured enlightening discussions on pivotal topics such as career advancement, work-life balance, and personal branding. Additionally, a series of engaging activities and interactions were designed to heighten awareness among women and foster networking opportunities.
