National Assembly: Honorable President of the National Assembly Cavaye Yeguie Djibril alongside the members of the Finance and Budget Committee

The Rt. Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril,  paid a surprise visit to the Members of the Finance and Budget Committee early this morning when they were examining the draft budget of the Ministry of Justice. It should be indicated that Mr. Laurent Esso, Minister of State, Minister of Justice, was the first Minister who filed past the Finance and Budget Committee. 

The visit of the Rt. Hon. Speaker to the Committee was no doubt a follow-up to ensure that everything was going on well. It is important to note that the Speaker has left no stone unturned to ensure that all the activities of the November 2022  session go-on hitch-free. 

His presence was also a booster to the Members of the Finance Committee who have to pass long hours today to examine the draft budgets of six more ministries as indicated on the program.
