Activities report of the National Assembly, yesterrday Thursday 17 November 2022

The work of the National Assembly today Thursday, November 17, 2022 started at 10:00am in the Committee Room A of the Conference Center with the Exchange Forum between the Members of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly and the Audit Bench of the Supreme Court. This forum was chaired by  Hon. Moutymbo Rosette Julienne Epse AYAYI, Chairperson of the Finance and Budget Committee. The President of the Audit Bench of the Supreme Court, Mr. Yap Abdou was present during the meeting. 

Meanwhile in Committee Room B of the Conference Center, an Information and Exchange meeting held between the Cultural Affairs Committee and the Minister of Tourism. The deliberations were  led by Hon. DOUVAOUISSA AISSA, Chairperson of the Committee. Mr. BELLO BOUBA MAIGARI, the Minister of Tourism personally took part in the meeting. 

Later in the afternoon, it was the turn of the Committee of National Defence and Security that met for the adoption of the report of law N°2027/PJL/AN on the repression of piracy, terrorism and offences against the security of maritime navigation and platforms. This committee is under the Chairmanship of Hon. ALI SALIHOU.

The day ended in  Committee Room A where the Foreign Affairs Committee examined  law N°2029/PJL/AN to  authorize the President of the Republic to accede to the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC)  created on 28 May 2007 in Abuja, Nigeria. The Bill was defended by the Minister of Finance Louis Paul Motaze in the presence of Mr. Félix Mbayu, representative of the Minister of External Relations. The deliberations were Chaired by Hon. Banmi Emmanuel, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
