The National Assembly administration sets the ball rolling for the November 2022 Session

Mr. Abdoullaye Daouda, First Assistant Secretary General of the National Assembly, today 2 November 2022, chaired a coordination meeting at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Legislation and Linguistic Affairs, Dall.

Mr. Abdoullaye Daouda, First Assistant Secretary General of the National Assembly, today 2 November 2022, chaired a coordination meeting at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Legislation and Linguistic Affairs, Dall. The meeting started at 10:00am and it ended at exactly 2:00pm. In  attendance was the Controller General of the National Assembly, Technical Advisers, Directors in charge of special duties, Directors and Heads of Units.

In his opening statement, the first assistant secretary general welcomed all those present and he thanked  them for responding to his invitation. He went  further to appreciate the Directors for the work they accomplished during the June 2022 Session and he concluded by encouraging them to redouble their efforts in the upcoming November Session which he said is very challenging in terms of the volume of activities. 

In the course of the meeting, the first assistant secretary general gave the floor first to the Controller General and subsequently to all the Directors. They all spoke in accordance to the  order that was laid down for the meeting. The Directors used the opportunity to present the balance sheet of the last session in their various departments and they also gave a highlight of how they have organized themselves to surmount the challenges of the upcoming Session. 

The first assistant secretary general gave impeccable solutions and guidelines to all the preoccupations that were raised by the  Directors. At the end of the meeting, he wished the Directors good luck in their various missions.
