In each of the stops, one of the engineers and the assistant Director General explained to the MPs the technical functionalities of the going construction. They also answered all the preoccupations of the visiting MPs. In one of the stops the engineer told the MPs that the project is already at a 64% realization progress rate.

It was also made mentioned that this will contribute to 30% of the national electricity consumption.
Other interesting revelations in this fact finding mission include the fact that 95% of workers of this project are nationals and just 5% are expatriates. Among the 95% locals, 30% are people within the area and the rest are from far off locations around the Country. The second revelation is that the project is worth 800 billion Franc Cfa and it is a public - private sponsorship. This holds that international development institutions like the French Electricity Company (EDF, Électricité de France), the Cameroon Government as well as local commercial banks are involved in the financing of the project.
