" Jean Blaise GWET " Presidential Election 2025. Message on the Reform of the Electoral Code, to my Brothers and Sisters in the Diaspora, the Bas and to my Brothers and Sisters from the North West and South West of Cameroon.
It is a great honor to be a member of your group. I am very honored and thank you warmly.
But first of all, allow me to extend my warmest congratulations and encouragement to the promoters of this platform and initiative. Especially to our young brother, Marshal Marcelo who took the initiative to introduce me to this group.
My first mission in the political arena in Cameroon is not only to find all my brothers and sisters scattered all over the world but, above all, to work together to find ways and means to bring back peace to our dear and beautiful country and, also, to bring each of you back to Cameroon, with your families and at home, so that together we can continue to build our Nation, in peace, in love and in social cohesion, giving a place to each one of you, without any witch hunt.
Listening to many of you and reading the speeches of some of you, I perceive what dwells in each of you in your hearts: an unwavering patriotism and a deep love for Cameroon. In all of you, the concern to quickly find the way back to your native land and to have the opportunity to participate each one in the construction effort of our country Cameroon.
Me! President, I will build Cameroon with each and every one of you, with all the sons and daughters of the Nation, "no matter what your political, ethnic, religious or cultural affiliation is..." We are all Cameroonian brothers and sisters, obliged to work hand in hand and live together.
On the day of my investiture, I undertake to sign on that very day, two first decrees. One on dual nationality and the other on general amnesty for all political prisoners, all Ambazonians and for all Cameroonian exiles scattered around the world.
2025 will mark a new turning point in our history. An opportunity to be seized by all, an opportunity to return to one's native country. A fundamental reason for everyone not to let themselves be manipulated by our brothers and sisters, politicians who will abandon you to your sad fate when the time comes, only because of their thirst for power.
Moreover, so that no one is unaware of it, to be a candidate in a presidential election in Cameroon, you must have a legalized political party and especially, have at least one (1) elected.
However, according to the investigative newspaper Epervier Info No. 26 of September 14, 2022 (attached copy), of the 3 political parties that are required for the presidential election of 2025, only 2 political parties meet the eligibility requirements to participate in this upcoming presidential election.
- The MPCC, has 3 elected members.
- The PCRN, has several elected officials and deputies.
- The MRC and the other political party with no elected representatives do not meet the conditions for participation in the next presidential election of 2025. They will therefore be obliged to wait until 2032, to run in the election following that of 2025.
Fundamental reason for some political leaders to manipulate public opinion, International and Cameroonians, to accept ideas such as:
1 - The Reform of the Electoral Code, for some.
2 - A transitional government, for others
Unfortunately, from my point of view, it is a battle lost in advance. I therefore invite my brothers and sisters to avoid being manipulated. Let us all work together for peace and order in our country. The time of change has come. We are ready, we will go to this presidential election that we have been preparing for over 13 years (October 2, 2009 marks the date of creation of our political party by myself Jean Blaise GWET, the Founding President. And since then, I have been preparing every day for this election of 2025).
I am an open man and ready to work with everyone and especially with Mr. Maurice KAMTO, Mr. FRANCK BIYA. There will be room for all those who wish to join our Political Movement.
Moreover, if I had to say a word about the electoral code, I President, I will not modify it before the next presidential election, if it was favorable to me. So, I suppose that the CPDM government will not do it, unless my analysis is wrong.
At this moment, I draw the attention of all my brothers and sisters who hope to see a modification of this electoral code before 2025 to be disabused of this idea.
I am a man of peace, a man of dialogue and tolerance. I am a man of peace, a man of dialogue and tolerance. Respectful of the laws, procedures and institutions of the Republic, I invite you to open your eyes, to let the politicians deal with their bad political strategies. Take care of your future, your families, your return to your native land in Cameroon. I take the solemn commitment from now on, to plead for your cause, for your forgiveness, for your reintegration and for your return to your native land in Cameroon, in dignity. I pledge to be your spokesperson to the government in this search for peace and return to your native land. Yes, I commit myself.
With deep conviction, Cameroon can quickly recover its economic, financial, social and political health. On the condition that each of us becomes aware of the state of the situation and decides on the right path to take for his destiny.
The fate and destiny of our Nation are in our hands. Through the MPCC and myself, we offer you access to multiple positions of responsibility tomorrow, in each of our municipalities and in the administrations as Municipal Councillors in our municipalities, Deputies in the National Assembly, Senators in the Senate, Ministers in the future government, Directors of public and parapublic companies in the various state companies.
I am happy to discover that some of you are carried away by the dynamics of Change in our dear and beautiful country Cameroon. With deep conviction and together, "WE CAN "
I assure you that for no reason in the world, I will never betray your trust and this immense cause for our Homeland, our people and for future generations.
It is time for action! Together, let us walk towards the essential.
May God watch over each of you, guide you and accompany us.
Jean Blaise GWET
