A preparatory meeting for the upcoming November 2024 Ordinary Session took place today, 8 November 2024 at the National Assembly
The meeting which was held this Friday, November 8th early in the morning, brought together around the Secretary General of this Institution Essian André Noël, the main actors involved in the running of this session.

On the instruction of the Right Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Mr. Essian André Noël held a working session with his close collaborators concerning the upcoming November 2024 Ordinary Session of the National Assembly.
The over 3 hours meeting took place at the DALL Conference Room. Taking the floor first, the Secretary General welcomed his close aids to the meeting and he went further to prescribe diligence, vigilance, commitment and above all hard work to all those who are concerned with the daily operations of the Session. The meeting unfolded with every head of structure presenting a balance sheet of the activities they carried out during the June 2024 Ordinary Session.
Most importantly, they presented the state of preparedness of their different departments concerning the upcoming Session. After each presentation, the Secretary General congratulated every head of structure for the work they have been doing. He went further to dish out orientations on last minute issues that are supposed to be done before the opening of the Session on Tuesday, 12 November 2024 at 11:00am at the Yaounde Conference Centre.
From the quality of presentations delivered by the heads of departments and the enriching guidelines from the Secretary General, it goes without much emphasis that the administrative staff of the National Assembly is once again ready to accompany Members of the National Assembly to accomplish efficiently their Republican Mission of voting Laws and Controlling Government Actions.
