National Assembly - November 2024 ordinary session : Scrutiny Of Bill N° 2065 / PJ/AN And N° 2072/PJ/AN In Committee.
The activities of the third Ordinary Session of the 2024 Legislative year continued this Monday, November 18, 2024 with the examination of Bill No. 2065/PJ/AN relating to the Settlement Bill of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2023 financial year.
The scrutiny of the Law took place in Committee Room A of the Yaounde Congress Centre. The Settlement Bill was presented and defended by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Louis-Paul MOTAZE. He was accompanied by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance, Mr. YAOUBA ABDOULAYE and by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Relations with the Assemblies, Mr. François BOLVINE WAKATA.
Later at 4 pm, the Foreign Affairs Committee met in the same Committee Room. Their Sitting was based on the examination of Bill No. 2072/PJ/AN, to authorize the President of the Republic to Ratify the Agreement on Criminal Police Cooperation between Central and East African States.
The Bill was presented and defended by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Mr. Paul Atanga Nji. He was also accompanied by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Relations with the Assemblies, Mr. François Bolvine Wakata and the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of relations with the Commonwealth, Mr. Félix Mbayu.
A full House of Members of both Committees that sat today took active part in their deliberations. The Secretary General of the National Assembly, Mr. Essian André Noël and the two deputy Secretary Generals of the National Assembly assisted Members of both Committees during their Sittings. Today's activities at the National Assembly ended at 5:30pm.
