Cameroun / Infrastructures : Le nouvel édifice de l'Assemblée nationale en bonne voie

C'était une atmosphère inhabituelle ce jour sur le site de construction du bâtiment de la nouvelle Assemblée nationale en raison de la présence du Très Hon. Président de l'Assemblée Nationale qui était accompagné des Membres du Bureau de l'auguste institution et de quelques Députés, du Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement et des Ministres du Gouvernement au rang desquels le Ministre des Affaires Etrangères, le Ministre de l'économie, de la Planification et de l'Aménagement du Territoire, et du Ministre des Finances.

Étaient également présents S.E. Wang Yingwa, l'Ambassadeur de Chine au Cameroun avec ses proches collaborateurs. L'arrivée de toutes les personnalités attendues a ouvert la voie au début de la visite guidée, officielle, du Très Hon. Président de l'Assemblée nationale, du Premier ministre et de l'ambassadeur de Chine sur le site.

Le premier arrêt de la visite a été aux stands d'exposition des photos. Chacune d'elles présentait les différentes installations qui seront hébergées par le magnifique édifice. Les explications ont été apportées aux visiteurs par l'hon. Datouo Théodore, le président du comité de suivi des travaux.

La deuxième phase de la visite a conduit la délégation au futur Hymicycle (salle des plénières) d'une capacité de 400 places presque achevé. Ici, le Très Hon. Président de l'Assemblée nationale et le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement, ont obtenu plus amples informations à propos de l'état d'avancement du projet. Cette phase a été suivie par la signature du procès verbal par le Très Hon. Président de l'Assemblée nationale et le premier ministre.

L'une des informations majeures, qui a été portée à l'attention de la presse par le Président du Comité de suivi, est que le Projet est à 60% du taux de réalisation et qu'il sera livré en mai 2024. A midi, les visiteurs ont quitté le chantier suivant   l'ordre protocolaire d'arrivée.

National Assembly : New Edifice on good course

The Rt. Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly and the prime Minister, Head of Government today Monday 4 July 2022 visited the construction site of the New National Assembly Building.

It was an unusual atmosphere today at the construction sit of the New National Assembly building owing to the presence of the Rt. Hon.  Speaker of the National Assembly who was accompanied by Bureau Members and some Members of Parliament, the Prime Minister, Head of Government and some Government Ministers that included the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Economy Planning and Regional Development and the Minister of Finance.

Also present was H.E. Wang Yingwa, Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon with his close collaborators. The arrival of all the expected personalities paved the way for the start of the guided tour of the official visit of the Rt. Hon. Speaker the Prime minister and the Chinese Ambassador to the site. The first stop of the visit was to the picture  exhibition stands. Each of the pictures showed the different facilities that will be hosted by the magnificent edifice. The Explanations were dished out to the visitors by Hon. Datouo Théodore, President of the construction follow up committee.

The second phase of the  visit took the delegation to the almost finished future 400 seater capacity Hymicycle ( Plenary Hall). Here, the Rt. Hon. Speaker and the Prime Minister, Head of Government received further information concerning the state of evolution of the project. This phase was followed by the signing of the  protocol accord by the Rt. Hon. Speaker and the  Prime Minister.

One of the major information that was made known to the press by the President of the follow up Committee is that the Project is at a 60 percent realization rate and it will be delivered in May 2024. At midday, the visitors left the construction site in the same protocoler oder in which they arrived.
